Souky Tours is Soukayna's business. Three people work on the trips and on this website: Soukayna drives and guides in Morocco, Saïd organizes in the background and Bas helps from the Netherlands.
Soukayna
Driver and guide, Marrakesh (Souky Tours)
Soukayna is one of the few women in Marrakesh who drives tourists herself. She is behind the wheel on the city tours, the day trips and the multi-day trips. Her business is called Souky Tours.
Travelers call her punctual, professional and funny. You can talk to her in English, French or Moroccan Arabic, on the road and in the chat.
Saïd
Co-organizer
Saïd organizes the trips together with Soukayna. Among other things he arranges stays with local families. One of our travelers stayed with a family that way during Ramadan.
Bas
Traveler and entrepreneur, your contact in the Netherlands
Bas met Soukayna in Marrakesh. He wanted to go running in the desert, had found a good route and needed a driver. Soukayna drove him there and took great care of him. His account of that morning is in the blog post about trail running in the desert.
Since then he has been helping her reach more travelers. He is a traveler and entrepreneur (esbl.digital and brainpowergroup.eu) and set up this website. In the chat he answers questions in Dutch.
How we work
Soukayna is the trip organizer. With Souky Tours she puts the trip together, sets the price and runs it. This website belongs to Bas, who takes care of the technology and the first contact.
All trips are private. You share the car only with your own group and you set the pace.
Every trip on this site is a starting point. You get a program with a price, and then we adjust until it fits.
Morocco is big. If something is a four-hour drive, we tell you and suggest a stop along the way or an extra night.
Who it is for
The trips are open to everyone: couples, families, groups of friends and people traveling alone. They are made first of all for women who prefer to travel with a female driver, because one is hard to find in Morocco.
